LUSH Handmade Cosmetics, UK-based beauty brand, has been one of the girls' favorite beauty products in the world including South Korea because they have been producing natural products. Every time I passed the shops in Sinchon, Hongdae, Myeongdong, Gangnam and other areas, all of the shops are always packed with shoppers but I never tried this brand before until my friends gave it as a birthday present! My friends bought me one set of Bûche de Noël Face-Body Cleanser and Sleepy Body Lotion. I have been applying these two products for the past few months (not everyday) and I'm satisfied with the outcome!
1. Bûche de Noël Face and Body Cleanser
Lush blends kaolin, dried cranberries, ground almond, mandarins, vegetable glycerine, a splash of brand, grated cocoa butter and essential oil to make a very healthy cleanser for our skin. Unlike the bar soap or the liquid soap, the texture of the cleanser is kind of in between of the bar and liquid soap.
How to use it?
The texture is like a rough paste where you can just take a small amount, place it in the palm of your hand and trickle a little water onto it and mix it. Apply it to your face and your body while massaging it on gently and you will notice the chunky texture exfoliates as it cleanses, and then rinse clean. Remember: do not put too much water!
Some people said it can remove makeup as well but I don't guarantee it so I use it after I remove my makeup with the makeup remover.
The result?
It softens and brightens my skin, and it makes my skin smell sweet! I think it is a really perfect product for those who have dry skin especially during winter.
2. Lush Sleepy Body Lotion
First of all, this pale-purple lotion has lavender scent which I really love! This lotion is a mix of glycerin, cocoa butter, almond oil, lavender flower and oatmeal and it moisturizes and hydrates skin. Thanks to the lavender flower, this lotion also makes our skin smells like the flower. After you clean the body just apply it all over your body and it will keep your skin hydrated and soft. Even though they call it a sleepy body lotion, but i don't think it either helps us get deeper sleep or reduce insomnia LOL. But in general i still love this product!
