"Winnie the Pooh: Exploring a Classic" Exhibition in Seoul

Good news for all the Winnie the Pooh lovers out there! The original drawings of the Winnie the Pooh have landed in Seoul, South Korea since 2019, August 22nd and it will last until 2020, January 5th. The exhibition itself has been touring the world since 2017 under the direction of Britain’s Victoria and Albert Museum and finished touring the United States and Japan. Don't mistaken this exhibition as a place for kids only since they showcase the original author A.A.Milne's scripts and letters, as well as E.H.Shepard's illustrations. They also exhibit the first Pooh and the journey throughout the years until Winnie the Pooh family gained the fame from all over the world.





The exhibition is divided in five sections. The first section “Popular Bear” will feature the most familiar aspects about the character. The following sections “After We’ve Been Introduced” and “What Is the Story About?” are made of a series of installments describing the process of the Winnie the Pooh’s creation. The last two sections of “Art of Description” and “Pooh Out in the World” will elaborate the traits of the original drawings and the process of publication.
