Winnie The Pooh Themed Cafe - "Hunny House"

I am always a fan of Winnie the Pooh since I was in kindergarten and I finally found a place that can rejoice me and bring me back to my childhood memories. Disney Korea recently opened an adorable Winnie the Pooh themed cafe called Hunny House. It's more than just a cafe since on the first floor they also have a pop up shop which sells a variety of Winnie the Pooh merchandise. The cafe is located in the heart of Itaewon, one of the most famous youth areas in Seoul. As Itaewon is an uphill area, Hunny House is located on a small hidden hill but it is not far away from the subway station so it is easy to find. However, the cafe only opens for a short period of time, from February 14 to March 31 2019, so you'd better hurry! Since the cafe opens for a short time, do take note the cafe has been propelled to fame, even on weekdays, so I recommend you to come early.

Disney Korea rented the whole building for the cafe. The first floor is the pop-up shop, counter, and there are a few seats. The second floor is the main cafe where a lot of people can enjoy their drinks while watching Winnie the Pooh movies. The third floor is the rooftop with many photo zones where people can take instagrammable photos with Pooh.

As you stepped inside the cafe, you will be greeted with a large menu hanging from the ceiling. The cafe sells coffees, non-coffee drinks and desserts, but the most popular and unique drink is Hunny Latte (KRW 6,500) which is hardly can be founded in other cafes. If you don't drink coffee, treat yourself to some non-coffee or non-alcoholic drinks. I got myself a Honey Camomile Tea (KRW 5,000) and the taste was not bad!

The store has many kinds of Pooh merchandise. A few of them can be founded in the stationery shops but most of them can only be founded in this shop. Since I am a big fan of Pooh I always keep an eye of all Pooh stuffs every time I pass by stationery stores LOL and I admit this shop has everything a Winnie the Pooh fan could ask for.

Every single corner of Hunny House was decorated carefully and we can spot Pooh every where!

Visitors can also write a note or wish on the Winnie the Pooh post-it and stick it on the window.

The second floor was decorated carefully with the tree-house ambience just like in Winnie the Pooh movie. If you know Korean language, you can spot a lot of meaningful quotes from Winnie the Pooh movie on the windows and the walls.
