Yacht's Paradise in Jeongok Port
Jeongok Port in Hwaseong-si, Gyenggi-do, was just a small port 10 years ago, but now this port has been changed as a yacht's paradise. Jeongok Port successfully hold a world yacht tournament, Korea International boat show in 2011, and hosts Korea match cup every year. From Seoul, Hwaseong is an excellent getaway that doesn’t require a long drive, it takes about 2 hours only by car. Jeongok Port has good conditions for marine leisure sports with tons of luxurious yachts. Visitors can take a rental cruise for a KRW 10,000 insurance fee and reasonable prices for all the private yachts depending on type.
When you are sailing the yacht, you can also feed the seagulls! Just give them shrimp cracker snacks and flock of them will come to you and beg for more snacks
After enjoying the water sports and sailing the yachts, don't forget to try the popular food called 'bajirak kalguksu' located only 300m from the port. You should also try the fried shrimp which makes complete combination with the kalguksu.
