Daebudo Island is a large island next to Ansan and is also known as the 21st century’s greatest place for tourism and leisure in Korea. The island became connected to mainland since the construction of the Sihwa Embankment, but it still possesses the romance and lyrical feature of an island for unique pleasure. It takes approximately 1 hour from Seoul to go there. If you love seafood, this island is the perfect place to go since Daebudo is famous for its clams and seafood. You can take a leisure stroll, enjoy the cool breeze, or challenge yourself with some outdoor activities. You can also try some experiences such as catching seashells and octopus in the wide wetland, making unique glass artwork, etc.
