1. Jeondeungsa Temple 전등사
Jeondeungsa Temple was originally called Jinjongsa during the Goryeo Dynasty. It functioned as a sanctuary enshrining family ancestors. Jeondeungsa Temple is located in Samrangseong Fortress, which is said to have been built by the three sons of Dangun, the founder of Korea. (english.visitkorea.or.kr)
This temple also provides Templestay program which is divided into an "experiential temple-stay program" where visitors can experience traditional Buddhist culture and a "relaxing temple-stay program" for enjoying temple's nature and environment to relax the spirit.

2. Seongmodo Island 석모도
Seongmodo is a small island off the coast of Ganghwado. To get to Seongmodo you will get to take a ferry. For a car it will cost around 16,000원 plus 2,000원 for each person. The boat only takes about 10 minutes to reach the island but you have time to get out of the car and go take some pictures on the boat and feed the seagulls!

3. Bomunsa Temple 보문사
Bomunsa Temple is located at Seongmodo Island. The temple was built in the fourth year of the reign of Queen Seondeok (Silla Dynasty, 635) by the Venerable Hwajeong when he came to Ganghwado Island. Walking up the temple yard for about eight minutes brings visitors to Nunsseopbawi Rock (Rock-cut Seated Buddha), one of the "Eight Scenes of Ganghwado Island".
